Tom is a water supply and treatment specialist who understands how to balance technical needs with environmental requirements and funding constraints. With 20 years of experience, he has helped orchestrate and facilitate regional water planning in Los Angeles, San Diego, and the high desert Antelope Valley. Tom has directed water recycling, groundwater banking, imported water management and grant funding projects for more than a dozen cities and water agencies throughout Southern California. He has also worked on more than 40 drinking water quality and treatment projects for the Metropolitan Water District, City of San Diego, San Francisco Public Utilities Commission and Seattle Public Utilities. Tom has an M.B.A from the Anderson School of Management at UCLA and a master’s in environmental engineering from Stanford University.
