| The following are a few of RMC’s recently awarded projects. |
| |
| RMC was selected to develop a plan for expanding the District’s recycled water system, including potential advanced sidestream treatment to lower TDS for improved recycled water quality. This project is being funded by two grants from the Title XVI program and includes both engineering analysis and the preparation of an Initial Study/Environmental Assessment. RMC has completed several recycled water projects for the District in the past, including planning, treatment and pipeline design. |
| RMC has begun work on a Programmatic Feasibility Study for the Sacramento Regional County Sanitation District (SRCSD) to evaluate the use of up to 40 MGD of recycled water to irrigate habitat and agricultural lands in southern Sacramento County. |
| The Santa Barbara Region recently selected RMC as its prime consultant to substantially improve both the region’s IRWM Plan and increase the usefulness and relevancy of regional planning. RMC staff have been involved with the Santa Barbara Region’s IRWM Plan since its inception in 2006, developing the 2007 IRWM Plan and its Biennial Update, securing over $28 million in grant funding, and completing the Regional Acceptance Process (RAP). |
| RMC has been selected to manage the San Diego IRWM Program over the next two years. In addition to preparing the IRWM Plan update and providing funding assistance, the program entails collaboration with the Regional Board, coordination with local and regional water management and land use planning entities, completing regional climate change and integrated flood management analyses, and implementing public outreach. |
| RMC was selected by the Rancho California Water District for the Indirect Potable Reuse (IPR) Concept Design Study, which involves evaluating different IPR alternatives and their regulatory requirements, advanced treatment options, brine concentration approaches, and disposal options; assessing the benefit of advanced treated water to the District’s existing non-potable reuse system; and completing an economic evaluation of the alternatives. |
